we step out of our comfort zone. To discover ourselves, we most likely have to distance ourselves from our everyday lives. This can be done one step at a time or we can jump right into it. It’s not always easy stepping away from our day to day routine. It can be even harder to develop the courage we need to step out on our own. But by trying something new and different, we give ourselves the opportunity to ignite a spark within ourselves. Or potentially even a fire. Imagine living your passion on a daily basis. Each step we take moves us further and further from who we are now and closer and closer to who we really are. |

We are not doing this for anyone else. And we shouldn’t be doing it for attention. MeTime is about living life internally. It’s about being the person we have always aspired to be. We should never feel guilty for wanting to
spend time bettering ourselves. MeTime is important for everyone. It is important that we take as long as we need to enjoy this time to ourselves. Obviously, we have other responsibilities we have to consider but the most important responsibility is to ourselves. If we are ever going to do a good job giving love to others, or making the world a better place, we have to first learn to love ourselves. MeTime will teach us to be better people. A better mother, father, husband, wife, friend or lover. MeTime will help us find the best version of ourselves. That’s what everyone deserves. That’s what you deserve. |

Busyness is too often used as an excuse to avoid spending quality time with ourselves. Excuses are too often made because we are afraid of the possibility of finding darkness within ourselves. But the truth is darkness is not that easily avoided. It will always try to stand in our way and prevent us from moving forward. Even if we do happen to get past it, the darkness will often find a way to drag us back. But instead of fighting it, we can learn to use darkness as a tool to help us move forward and grow. |

There are at least one billion and
one ways to enjoy MeTime. Make the most of this time and use it as an opportunity to start crossing things off your bucket list. Some suggestions include camping, swimming, bird watching, travel, gym work or even simply going for a walk. Meditation is a speedy method for anyone truly eager to get in touch with their inner self. However we decide to spend our time, the most important thing is to make sure we get quality time with ourselves. Finding activities which challenge us work as a great boost to our personal growth and self esteem. |
How often and how long really
depends on the individual. There are no set rules. It all comes down to you. I personally recommend at least half a day a month of MeTime. But don’t worry if you can’t handle this. You can always break this up. Try a couple of hours a week or fortnight. Whatever suits you. The key is consistency. Once you start enjoying MeTime, keep it going. |
MeTime is medicine for your well being.
